Front-Load Washer Keeps Draining?
Here’s the Fix.

Safety First

Unplug the machine and turn off the water supply before attempting any internal inspections.

Quick Diagnostics

  • Tools: Screwdriver, Pliers
  • Time: 30 - 60 Mins
  • Difficulty: Moderate
1

The Siphoning Effect

If your drain hose is pushed too far into the wall pipe, it creates a vacuum that pulls water out as fast as it goes in.

  • The Fix: Insert the hose only 4–6 inches deep.
  • Height: Ensure the standpipe is 65cm–100cm from the floor.
2

Faulty Drain Pump

Debris like coins or hairpins can jam the pump or cause the motor to stay "engaged" incorrectly.

Diagnostic Tip:

Listen for a constant humming or grinding noise from the bottom of the unit.

3

Pressure Switch & Water Level Sensor

This sensor tells the computer when the drum is full. If the tiny air tube connected to it is clogged with gunk, the machine thinks it's overflowing and starts a constant drain cycle.

Try blowing through the pressure tube to clear any minor blockages.

Still Not Holding Water?

Complex issues like a faulty main PCB (Control Board) require expert diagnostic tools.
